Our range includes highly precise and durable tweezers from Piergiacomi. They are available in four variants: PCB tweezers, pointed tweezers, SMD tweezers and standard tweezers. The available products differ in tip shape and serration type. Some tweezers, marked with the symbol "R", feature a self-closing mechanism. Most tweezers are made of anti-magnetic and acid-resistant materials, while nickel-plated, nylon and PTFE-coated models are also available.

Tweezers by Piergiacomi

ESD tweezers are hand tools used for gripping, moving or holding small objects or electronic parts that may not be possible to lift with fingers and require precision and care. They are ergonomically designed to fit comfortably between the thumb and index finger and are often manufactured from an anti-magnetic stainless steel alloy for durability and long service life. This conductive material is ideal for handling electronic parts or components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharge.

PIERGIACOMI offers precisely engineered, high-quality tweezers for electronics professionals for handling small components and electronic parts. They are ideal for electronics assembly and inspection, PCB repair and laboratory applications. PIERGIACOMI provides a wide range of tweezers in different sizes, tip styles and strengths to match your requirements.

Pointed tweezers

Pointed tweezers can be used for various tasks, such as PCB repair and microelectronics work, where precisely shaped pointed tweezers are required. Many users rely on the same tweezers for different assembly, service and repair jobs, but there is no doubt that tweezers are essential for holding small electronic parts. Anti-magnetic tweezers are available in different lengths and types. In general, they are intended for use in the electronics industry, where electrostatic discharge-sensitive components and devices are handled.

High-quality precision PIERGIACOMI tweezers are manufactured using a non-magnetic stainless steel alloy. Each pair of tweezers offers durability and hardness, precision and balance, as well as excellent tip alignment. Before purchasing tweezers, it is important to verify that their features and properties match the requirements of the intended task. If, for example, you need tweezers for very small components, you should choose a model with a good grip and an appropriately shaped tip. If you are not sure which type of tweezers you need, please contact us.

Anti-magnetic tweezers

Although anti-magnetic tweezers are more expensive than magnetic ones, their properties do not affect the object being worked on, because no magnetism is transferred. This is particularly important if you work with electronics.

It should be remembered that if tweezers are not fully anti-magnetic, they will develop a certain level of magnetism over time. This happens as a result of use, contact with objects containing magnetised parts, or even exposure to other magnetic fields. That is why it is worth investing in high-quality anti-magnetic tweezers.

Although PIERGIACOMI pointed tweezers are made from an anti-magnetic alloy, they are not recommended for use in strong magnetic fields or for working directly with magnets, as this may damage the anti-magnetic tweezers.

Different tweezer tips

The wide range of tweezers includes different sizes, gripping strengths and tip profiles, so several factors should be considered before choosing the right tool. Each type of tweezers is designed for a specific purpose, whether for handling delicate and fragile electronic parts or for repairing electronic assemblies.

Here is a brief guide to the types of tweezer tips available:

  • SMD – easy control and accuracy at a more comfortable working angle, resulting in reduced operator fatigue.
  • Standard – the gently curved tip is ideal for applications where damage or tangling could occur when using sharply pointed tweezers.
  • Flat – ideal for gripping larger objects, as they offer a greater contact surface than standard tweezers.
  • Pointed – designed for reaching into small, hard-to-access areas for precise gripping.
  • Round – useful for general applications that do not require the highest level of precision.
  • For PCB – self-closing gripping tweezers allow safe handling of components in semiconductor production without damaging them.
