We offer effective and efficient air ionizers from Panasonic and Reeco. Our range includes ionizers in compact, bar-type, gun-type, benchtop and overhead versions. These devices emit ionized air to neutralize hazardous electrostatic charges. The primary application of air ionizers is the removal of electrostatic charge and dust from PCBs, LCD panels, protective films used for components and components placed in trays. Our offer includes ionizers tailored to every requirement, from small electrical workshops to large-scale electronics manufacturing.

What is an air ionizer?

Air ionizers are devices used to neutralize electrostatic charges by blowing a large volume of positive and negative ions onto the target area. It is important to maintain a balance between the number of positive and negative ions, which is why the ionizer should be positioned above the object or surface that accumulates charge. High-performance devices are capable of maintaining the ion balance very close to 0 V over a long period of time. Ion imbalance leads to the build-up of electrical charge.

High-quality air ionizers

As a company operating on the market for many years, we are proud to cooperate with the best brands, one of which is Panasonic. We offer and recommend Panasonic ionizers with full confidence because we are committed to providing the highest quality solutions. Depending on the application, we offer the following types of ionizers:

  • Benchtop ionizer
  • Fast point ionizer
  • Gun-type ionizer
  • Fast bar ionizer
  • Dual-head ionizer

Are air ionizers safe?

First, it is worth recalling how electrostatic charges are generated. When two materials interact through friction or separation, electrons move between atoms. The area that loses electrons becomes positively charged, while the area that gains electrons becomes negatively charged.

An air ionizer is intended solely to restore balance between charges by providing the correct amount of negative and positive ions on a given material or surface.

Of course, equipment should be tested and maintained regularly. We recommend checking air ionizers at least once a month.

What does an air ionizer do?

Whenever conventional grounding cannot be applied, for example through a wiring system that dissipates charge, or when such wiring would hinder or complicate the work process, ionizers become necessary. An air ionization system works by dispersing positive and negative ions into the atmosphere. These ions come into contact with surfaces carrying positive or negative charges. Each charge attracts an ion of the opposite polarity, which neutralizes the hazardous charge. Ionizers are divided into:

  • AC – provide fast neutralization using a high airflow rate
  • DC – provide fast neutralization

Types of ionization protection:

  • local protection (small area): benchtop ionizers, gun-type ionizers, bar ionizers
  • complete protection (entire room): manual environmental control, automatic environmental control
