Why is it worth investing in antistatic trousers?

Antistatic trousers are one of the most essential forms of protection for the lower body. They are also responsible for dissipating and grounding electrostatic charges generated by the human body. It has been proven that the human body is the primary generator of electrostatic charges and that around 70% of electronic component damage is caused by inadequate protection of personnel working at stations within an EPA, which is why sourcing ESD clothing from trusted manufacturers is so important. Ensuring safety for both employees and the components handled in a given working environment translates into greater reliability and a higher standard of service.
