We offer a wide range of ESD tapes and warning signs, including signs and labels, packaging tapes, Kapton tapes, conductive tapes, and marking tapes. A very important element in the distribution of finished products is selecting the right tape for sealing the carton or container. It should be remembered that an incorrectly selected tape may be the cause of electrostatic discharge. We offer durable antistatic tape for packaging specialist products. In addition, warning tapes and signs are available to indicate the boundaries of an EPA or a cleanroom.
How to mark an EPA?
To control electrostatic discharge (ESD) in the workplace, three basic ESD rules listed below should be followed. These are the fundamental principles for creating a safe working environment:
- Ground all conductors, workshop equipment, and personnel (antistatic garments, all protective solutions, and grounding systems)
- Remove unnecessary non-conductive items (also known as insulators)
- Place ESD-sensitive devices inside protective packaging when transporting them outside the protected area.
In line with these principles, it should be understood that any object, material, or person may be a source of static electricity in the working environment. Removing unnecessary non-conductive materials, replacing insulating materials with dissipative or conductive ones, and grounding all conductors are the basic methods of controlling static electricity in the workplace, regardless of the type of activity performed.
One of the simplest ways to maintain a safe antistatic area is to clearly designate the zones that are most exposed. Clear marking is essential for efficient compliance with workplace rules, and the most convenient way to define the boundaries of an EPA is by using EPA warning signs.
EPA signs in our offer
As a company with many years of experience and a broad product range, we are proud to offer a wide selection of products combined with professional advice. Product quality and customer safety have always been, and continue to be, our highest priorities, which is why we present our recommended products from the “ESD labels” category. We divide this extensive category into the following subcategories:
- Signs and labels
- Packaging tapes
- Conductive tapes
- Marking tapes
This division into smaller subcategories is important not only for the clarity and readability of the offer, but above all for user convenience. We focus on providing professional yet easily accessible products in our range. An EPA sign is not limited to warning plates alone, but also includes all markings used on tapes intended for packaging, zone marking, or conductive protection against damage resulting from inadequate antistatic protection.
