ESD floor marking tape

ESD floor tape provides clearly defined zones and ensures safety and control within a specific area. First, it is worth clarifying what an EPA is. It is a production area protected against the effects of electrostatic discharge. The term EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area) refers to a zone in which the maximum electric field strength is 100 V/cm. This area is designated using gates and markings such as labels, boundary strips, or precisely EPA floor marking tape.

The fundamental principles for creating a safe EPA are:

  • Grounding all conductors, workshop equipment, and personnel (antistatic garments, all protective solutions, and grounding systems)
  • Removing unnecessary non-conductive items (also known as insulators)
  • Placing ESD-sensitive devices inside protective packaging when transported outside the protected area.

With user comfort and workplace safety in mind, our company has expanded its offer to include ESD floor tapes. These products allow for precise zone marking and provide a clear level of information for all personnel. We offer the following EPA floor tapes: PVC marking tape with zone direction print for floors and self-adhesive PVC marking tape 75 mm x 33 m. Each of them is made of durable polyvinyl chloride, ensuring long-lasting print quality and tape durability. They are produced in the distinctive yellow-and-black colour scheme, which guarantees excellent visibility.
