  • Main Carbon Filter for REECO Fume Extractor

Main Element of the REECO Fume Extractor Filtration System

The FCE-001 main carbon filter for fume extractors is designed for use with the REECO RE-FCE-001 system. It is a key element of the multi-stage filtration system, designed to reduce fumes, vapours and fine contaminants generated during work.

REECO fume extraction systems use a 3-stage filtration process. First, the pre-filter captures larger particles, then an additional filter in the cartridge provides the next stage of pre-filtration, while the main filter captures the smallest contaminants. This solution allows the extracted air to be cleaned gradually while reducing the load on the individual filtration elements.

    H11 Class Carbon Filter

The main filter is designed as a high-efficiency H11 class carbon filter. According to the specification, it is intended to capture microparticles, fumes and vapours, including particles approximately 0.3 µm in size.

In practice, the filter constitutes the final stage of air purification in the FCE-001 system and is responsible for capturing contaminants that have passed through the previous filtration stages.

The REECO fume extractor is additionally equipped with a filter status monitor and an alarm that informs the user about reduced system efficiency or the need to replace the filter element. This makes it easier to monitor the device's operating condition without continuously checking the filter manually.

When Should the Filter Be Replaced?

The expected service life of the filter is between 3 and 6 months. However, the actual service life depends on the conditions in the workplace, particularly temperature, humidity, dust levels and the intensity of fume extractor use.

In environments with higher levels of contamination, the filter may require earlier replacement. Regular monitoring of its condition helps maintain the proper operation of the entire fume extraction system.

    Key information

    • filter type: carbon,
    • class: H11,
    • compatibility: REECO RE-FCE-001,
    • purpose: main filter in the fume extraction system,
    • captures fumes, vapours and microparticles,
    • microparticle size captured according to the specification: 0.3 µm,
    • expected service life: 3–6 months,
    • dimensions: 385 × 195 × 250 mm.

    Designed for the FCE-001 System
