JBC CDA Solder Feed Station
The JBC CDA digital soldering station has been designed for applications where freeing the operator’s hands from direct solder wire handling is essential. The integrated AP250 solder feed handle enables precise and repeatable solder dosing without manual wire guidance, significantly improving ergonomics and process consistency.
This solution is particularly suited to operations that require a stable tool position and intensive soldering, where smooth workflow and accurate control of solder volume are critical.
Applications in THT soldering and series production
The CDA station is intended for solder wire application directly onto printed circuit boards, connectors and transformers. It is especially effective in intensive THT soldering, where manual solder feeding can reduce operator comfort and overall efficiency.
Compatibility between the AP250 handle and C250 series cartridges allows the tip geometry to be precisely matched to the specific technological task and joint type.
Soldering system and cartridge protection
The CDA model uses JBC’s most efficient soldering system, delivering fast heat-up times and stable temperature control during operation. Integrated sleep and hibernation modes automatically reduce tip temperature during idle periods, extending cartridge life and lowering consumable wear.
The station is equipped with a cartridge holder for up to four cartridges, a built-in cartridge extractor, and a cable support, helping to maintain a safe, organized and ergonomic workstation.
Control and configuration
Digital temperature control, combined with a menu offering more than 10 configurable parameters, allows precise adaptation of the station to specific process requirements. The 7-key keypad ensures fast and intuitive configuration, typical of compact JBC stations.
