The REECO RACK Metal Cabinet, Horizontal 1500 provides an organized solution for integrating 19-inch, 6U rack-mounted equipment into professional measurement and electronics workstations. Its horizontal design allows instruments to be installed above the workbench, maximizing available workspace while ensuring convenient access to front panels and controls.
The cabinet is mounted using two adjustable support brackets, allowing its position to be tailored to the workstation layout. Inside, ten adjustable RACK mounting profiles provide flexibility when installing measurement instruments, power supplies, and other 19-inch equipment.
Easy service access and efficient cable management
The rear panel is divided into three removable sections, allowing convenient access to specific parts of the installation without removing the entire cover. A full-width cable entry along the bottom panel simplifies the routing of power and signal cables, helping to maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Ventilation openings in both the upper and lower panels promote continuous airflow and efficient heat dissipation, while the cabinet enclosure protects installed equipment and front panels against accidental mechanical damage.
Integrated power distribution and safety system
The cabinet features a comprehensive integrated safety module located on the right-hand side. It includes an emergency stop pushbutton, a 16 A / 30 mA AC residual current device (RCD), four S301 B16 miniature circuit breakers, and a 3 × 10 mm² terminal block. Four external 230 V / 16 A power outlets mounted on the rear of the safety module provide convenient power connections for workstation equipment.
The cabinet is supplied with a 3 m, 230 V / 16 A power cable and includes two grounding points as well as ESD protection, making it suitable for electronics manufacturing, testing, laboratory, and service environments.
