SolderStar DeltaProbe probe eliminates the need for using delicate test boards for periodic profiling required for continuous flow control
Thanks to the attached sensors, without a test card and without the restrictions of long, tugging cables, DeltaProbe is a stable, solid and convenient platform for generating highly repeatable results
Despite the need to use a test board for process settings, ongoing monitoring can be achieved by measuring the difference from the established baseline configuration
Periodic use of the DeltaProbe probe enables quick verification of the base profile and fast data capturing for the static process quality control (SPC) system. All process deviations caused by changes in the setting values of individual oven zones are immediately detected with accompanying visual signaling to the operator
Advanced SPC tools allow the operator to create control charts for the current process, re - evaluate it and possibly correct the process
"Perfect profile" created in 3 steps - - Optimal oven settings are determined by simulating the product profile and captured data - - The DeltaProbe probe is then used to capture, verify and finally determine the "ideal process profile"
- Tolerance limits are defined on the basis of temperature charts and process parameters
