TAGARNO MAGNUS ZAP FHD digital microscope, including FLEX ARM ADVANCED
The TAGARNO MAGNUS ZAP FHD digital microscope, including FLEX ARM ADVANCED, is a modern inspection tool designed for use in industrial environments, laboratories, and production lines. The system uses Full HD technology, delivering high image resolution, very accurate color reproduction, and a high level of detail required for inspecting electronic components, precision mechanical parts, and small-scale structures.
The system enables observation in an ergonomic, upright working position, significantly reducing operator fatigue during prolonged use. The image is displayed in real time on a monitor, without delays or interference, which is essential for production and inspection applications.
Image quality and operating parameters
The image generated by the microscope camera is transmitted digitally via HDMI and DVI throughout the entire camera-to-monitor signal path, eliminating quality losses typical of analog solutions. Image processing at 60 frames per second ensures smooth observation even during dynamic inspection processes.
Maximum magnification of up to 133×, achieved when using a 24″ monitor and an optional +10 lens, allows analysis of very fine details. A working distance of 250 mm provides free access to the inspected area, while the built-in autofocus automatically maintains image sharpness. The device is also equipped with a laser pointer, a USB 3.0 port, and ESD protection, increasing functionality and safety when working with electrostatically sensitive components. Power consumption in standby mode is 0.5 W.
FLEX ARM ADVANCED - working range and adjustment
An integral part of the system is the Flex Arm Advanced, which enables precise camera positioning over a wide working range. In a configuration with the +4 lens, supplied as standard, the vertical working range extends from 630 mm to 760 mm measured from the work surface.
The articulated arm design allows smooth, multi-axis adjustment of the camera position and stable holding of the selected position during operation. This solution is particularly well suited to environments where frequent repositioning of the observation area is required while maintaining repeatable inspection conditions.
