The JBC CDB digital soldering station is a compact and high-performance solution designed for general electronic applications such as assembly, servicing, and production work. The station is intended for use with the T245 handpiece, which provides excellent control over the soldering process and high operator comfort across a wide range of components, from through-hole parts to larger solder pads.
The use of JBC’s most efficient soldering system ensures rapid heating, stable temperature maintenance, and consistently high solder joint quality, even under intensive operating conditions.
Soldering system and tip protection
The CDB station features advanced power management with sleep and hibernation modes that automatically reduce the tip temperature during periods of inactivity. This significantly extends tip lifetime and reduces wear, which is particularly important in production and service environments.
The integrated tip extractor allows fast and safe cartridge replacement without the need for additional tools. The station is compatible with more than 150 C245 series cartridges in various tip geometries, enabling precise tool selection for specific soldering tasks.
Control and operational safety
Like all compact JBC stations, the CDB model is equipped with an advanced configuration menu offering more than 10 adjustable parameters, allowing the device to be tailored to individual user preferences and process requirements. Digital temperature control ensures precise regulation across the entire working range.
The station meets stringent ESD safety requirements. Tip-to-ground resistance is below 2 Ω, and tip-to-ground voltage is less than 2 mV RMS, enabling safe work with electrostatic-sensitive components.
