Neoden N10P automatic pick & place system is designed for automated SMD component assembly. The system is designed for processes that require both high efficiency and flexible production configuration. The machine uses 8 placement heads and achieves a maximum speed of up to 20,000 CPH, with a positioning accuracy of ±0.01 mm.
One of the N10P's most important features is its ability to handle large PCBs. The minimum PCB size is 50 x 50 mm, while with the appropriate configuration, the machine can handle PCBs measuring up to 500 x 450 mm. The maximum width is up to 450 mm without the IC tray holder and up to 395 mm when using one holder. The manufacturer also offers an optional extension conveyor for long PCBs, increasing the PCB length to 1500 mm.
8 Heads and Automatic Nozzle Change
The Neoden N10P automatic pick & place system is equipped with an automatic nozzle change system with 39 positions, which reduces manual operator intervention when changing the type of components being placed. The automatic nozzle height calibration function further streamlines machine setup and helps maintain stable assembly conditions.
The machine also monitors nozzle air pressure. If it detects an incorrect value, the assembly process can stop, reducing the risk of errors and material loss.
Vision System for Different Types of Components
An advanced camera system handles component recognition. The solution supports a wide range of components, from small 0201 components to components measuring up to 22 × 22 mm and up to 40 × 40 mm. The maximum component height is 16 mm.
The camera system is designed for fast component recognition during operation, while the IC camera works with the automatic calibration and nozzle-change functions. This allows the N10P to handle a diverse range of components within a single assembly process.
Wide Range of Feeders and Flexible Production Configuration
Neoden N10P automatic pick & place system supports up to 80 tape feeders positioned at the front and rear of the machine. This makes it possible to prepare a wide range of components without the need for frequent machine changeovers. The design also allows electric and pneumatic feeders to be used on the same base.
The manufacturer has also provided additional solutions that increase the machine's configuration possibilities, such as an IC tray holder and lifting table.
