The REECO RE-2600 robot is an automated soldering workstation developed for electronics manufacturers requiring maximum productivity, repeatability, and efficient machine utilization. Supplied as a complete production-ready system, it can be easily integrated into both new and existing production lines without complex engineering or lengthy installation procedures.
The key feature of the system is its rotary indexing table, which allows one workpiece to be soldered while the operator simultaneously loads or unloads the next assembly. This significantly reduces idle time, improves Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and optimizes production workflow.
Precise control of the soldering process
The robot automatically positions each workpiece using either a mechanical positioning system or, optionally, a vision-guided alignment system. Process parameters are controlled by a PLC, allowing individual soldering profiles to be programmed for every solder joint.
An automatic solder wire feeder provides flexible wire-feed control, while compatibility with more than 40 soldering tip types enables the system to handle a wide range of soldering applications. The 150 W induction heating system delivers rapid heat-up and stable thermal performance throughout the process.
High productivity and flexible manufacturing
The REECO RE-2600 robot supports solder wire diameters of 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, and 1.2 mm and can optionally operate in a nitrogen atmosphere to further improve solder joint quality. An integrated mechanical tip cleaning system automatically maintains tip cleanliness, reducing manual maintenance and ensuring consistent soldering performance.
Its modular design allows the workstation to be expanded with additional features and adapted to changing production requirements.
